This team needed a win to salvage a season that started out strong but was quickly doing its best Hindenberg impression. Somehow, we managed to make it close despite having awesome field position and FORCING SIX TURNOVERS, but, man, we pulled it out, and that's all that matters.

great win for your team

i almost always pull and bet for the underdogs. since the big ten has 15 games where there is a trophy involved does northwestern have any matchup in the big ten that there is a local trophy involved. something like the paul bunyon axe between the badgers and gophers? just wondering.

they always played illinois for the sweet sioux tomahawk, but that was retired after last season cuz its offensive to native americans, they might have replaced it with a new trophy, not sure
