New Blog: Along The Olentangy for Ohio State Fans!

Oh no.

Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no.

Penn State is mad. good. If you don't believe me, read this blog. They're not lying.

Back in the beginning of the year, NU made the decision to hype this game up over any other game on the schedule. It made sense: we were looking like a dark horsey team, Penn State is Penn State, it's got a late start time, and it's on national TV.

Then things went wrong. This game, the one we've been hyping up all year, isn't even going to be sold out, and most of the fans will be from Penn State. And worst of all, NU has about as good a chance of winning as this girl had of winning this fight

Obviously, the upset would be huge. But odds are, it ain't happenin.

Also, can we please not play Zombie Nation? That won't go over well.

So here's your preview. Your brief, brief, preview.

When we got the ball: Penn State has, as noted, the best rush defense and pass defense in the conference. I've got a feeling the lesser of the two evils is their pass d though, and pretty much the only chance we have at coming away with the W is if Mike Kafka bombs out five deep balls and hits one of them. We're not going to be grinding the ball up the field for seven straight first downs like we do against most teams against Penn State.

When they got the ball: I don't know what to say. Our depleted defense just ain't good enough to run with the big boys, most likely.

Pick in a mascot fight to the death: Oh, man, nothing's going our way. The classic battle of a large cat vs. a slightly smaller cat will not end well for the Wildcat. Game, PSU. (mascot death fight records: PSU, 8-0-1, Northwestern, 3-6.)

Prediction:

After the jump!

Star-divide

Penn State, 35, NU, 14. I mean, we'll score. Just not as much as them.

Anyways, drop by for the game thread, because, man, we got like, 250 comments last week, and those game threads are aweomse. If you'll excuse me, I need a nap.
