The game was actually competitive for a half, with USF having only a 7-0 lead at halftime.  Two 3rd quarter touchdowns put the game out of reach.

Continuing their tour of inaccurately named schools in Florida, the Hilltoppers play arguably the second most misleadingly named school in FBS (after Northwestern of course, the school located in northeast Illinois, a midwestern state, in a conference called the Big Ten which has 11 teams and will soon have 12).  Why is a school in Florida called "international"?  The only more confusingly named school is California University of Pennsylvania.  

Why WKU Might Have a Shot: FIU sucks pretty bad too.  They're also 0-4.  WKU is coming off a bye week, so they have had two weeks to prepare for the Golden Panthers.  

Realistically: While FIU might be 0-4, they have hung close in all of their games against a reasonably difficult schedule (Texas A&M, Pitt, Rutgers, Maryland).
