That website’s review of Welsh-Ryan pretty much hits the right notes— there’s no bad view (unless you’re trying really hard), it’s got the gymnasium feel, and when it’s full (and, better yet, full of Northwestern fans), it can have a great game atmosphere.

That’s not to say it couldn’t benefit from some upgrades and renovations, but there’s nothing wrong in principle with what we’ve got.
