- Nothing too exciting in the Big Ten last night, with Purdue and Wisconsin getting easy wins over Indiana and Iowa respectively. Chris Kramer is actually emerging as an offensive threat for Purdue, which could prove vital for them in the postseason, and Jon Leuer has returned to pre-broken wrist form.
- The Northwestern woman's basketball team is in action this afternoon in the first round of the Big Ten tournament, taking on Michigan. I haven't seen the Lady 'Cats play at all this season or really in any season, but the game will be on the Big Ten Network at 11 AM central, so I plan to tune in and see if there's anything to get excited about.
- 1-1 last night picking, as Purdue just barely covered while Iowa came nowhere close to losing by only 18. I was fortunate to get the Purdue pick in early, as the line moved to 19.5 not long after I posted. Tonight I try to get back to .500.
Penn State at Michigan State (-13), 6 PM central, ESPN2
The suddenly red hot Nittany Lions go into East Lansing, where they managed to win last year. This game also has a bit of letdown potential for Michigan State coming off their huge road win over Purdue. I may be basing this too much on how easily Penn State handled Northwestern, but I think they can keep this game close enough to cover 13.
Pick: Penn State
