Amy Jaeschke named AP All-American honorable mention

The AP today made Amy Jaeschke an honorable mention All-American, making her just the third Wildcat to earn that postseason award, joining Anucha Browne in 1985 and Kristina Divjak in 1998. Here's the NUsports.com release.

Congrats to Amy on the honor!  If you haven't gotten enough of Amy after reading my interview with her earlier this week, I'll have even more on her soon, with a WNBA draft projection and preview. Amy is aiming to become the first Wildcat to play in the WNBA, and the league's communications director, Ron Howard, has been nice enough to set me up with a few interviews with coaches and scouts to assess her prospects. A blogger being treated like legit media?  What a brave new media world we live in.
