My friend just received this letter. Lame, lame, lame, option #1. Eventhough it is reasonable, it has that goofy, "Chicago's Big Ten team" on it. I hope an Illinois player from Chicago comes on it and farts on that stupid slogan and then dunks on Luka M.

Just as you never stop supporting the ‘Cats, we never stop working hard to make you proud come basketball season. It’s crazy to think we’re so close to the season.

All of the players, coaches and staff have been working tremendously hard to prepare for the upcoming season. Another part of our team working diligently is the marketing and communications folks. As you may have seen in various media reports and on our Facebook page, we requested feedback from fans on a new basketball court design. The buzz was incredible. It was a fun project. Today we want to let you, our most ardent fans, see the finished design first.

Lastly, all of us in the Northwestern family are excited for the upcoming football season and the campaign underway across the country known simply as "PersaStrong" – the awareness movement to promote the Heisman candidacy of quarterback Dan Persa and highlight him as the complete student-athlete. We’re looking forward to supporting Pat and the football team at Ryan Field this fall.
