Dan Persa Injury Update: "Questionable" on Boston College Injury Report
I can't take it anymore. I can't take it anymore. I can't take it anymore. This is killing me and it haven't even started yet.
Northwestern generally releases its depth chart at like 2 p.m. on Thursdays. At 6 today, something came out that says Dan Persa is questionable for the Boston College game. (It also sheds light on a lot of stuff: like why Tony Jones and Roderick Goodlow aren't on the two-deep, they're both out with leg injuries, as are presumptive defensive tackle Brian Arnfelt and nickel back/safety Mike Bolden.)
What does this mean? I HAVE NO CLUE. I HAVE NO CLUE. I don't know if it means he's actually questionable, if this is all some sick joke from the NU medical staff, if anything means anything or if our lives are just a pathetic search for meaning in a world without one.
What I do know is that someone is going to play quarterback for Northwestern on Saturday and I'm literally bursting at the brain with anticipation.
On the plus side, whoever it is will have an easier job than we might have thought, as Donnie Fletcher - the Eagles' best cornerback and last good player in their secondary - is a step worse off than Persa, as he's doubtful.

Remember BC started 2 players who didn't play a game at corner last year and they did fine.

both these things are true...
and yeah, I shouldn’t have disparaged Noel.
but… you’re confident? because I’d be scared with BC’s secondary, and I don’t even know who my team’s quarterback is.

Oh, FFS.
We’re just being toyed with at this point.
Jonathan Herrera: Staving off regression to the mean since 2010!
Red herring
This is all leading up to Evan Watkins and the Chestnut Hill Redemption.
There's a lot...
….of p*$$y for Evan to slay nightly in the greater Boston metropolitan area…..
