Crawford has to improve his all-around play for the betterment of the team this year and to prepare himself for a professional career abroad. I would encourage him to put his name (temporarily) into the NBA Draft to go through team workouts and get critically valuable feedback about his skills. That is what Shurna did and a number of other rising seniors. Right now, he needs to be in the company of aspiring pro players and talent evaluators to focus him during the offseason. I think this is a no-brainer and has no downside.
