Basically, it started with discussion about Allen Pinkett's comments about ND with Golic, and then the discussion evolved into, what is the tangible harm to lower admission standards for athletes (beyond the normal say that the 'academics' do)? Mike Greenberg said how I feel, which is essentially the value of my NU degree would not be diminished if there were a fewer lesser deserving kids admitted if they could help win football/basketball games. You've heard my say this as the Corey Maggette or DeSean Jackson argument.
