Took a day off with these yesterday, so two today! Matt Grevers still won a gold medal yesterday, so that's nice - Jake Herbert will be a few days before he gets to go.

No. 28, Tim Hanrahan, sophomore, running back

Who he be: Tim's a walk-on running back from Providence Catholic, where he ran for 4,000 yards in his career, including an 1,800 yard season while still playing with Patrick Ward as a junior. He has yet to see the field for Northwestern tho.

Notable Hanrahans: Joel.

Dearly Departed: Justan Vaughn rocked No. 28 most recently for Northwestern. He played cornerback and started both as a sophomore before an injury ended his year and again as a senior, when he started every game alongside Sherrick McManis. He'll be best remembered for his starring role in "The Justan Vaughn Show".

Looking forward: Tim could play this year, but if he does, it probably won't be at running back, where he's a ways down the depth chart with Mike Trumpy healthy. Maybe some carries vs. South Dakota?
