I'm catching the fever, you guys - that one where it's Monday and all you can think about is the game on Saturday. Sure, Northwestern is just 2-0, but I'm getting that feeling. But alas, it's Friday, and tomorrow is Saturday, so that means it's time to get-a-predictin.

BC Interruption already did theirs, and of course, they all think BC will win in a romp because they're homers - wait, what's that? They literally all predicted Boston College would lose? Welp.

Our predictions are after the jump, vote and comment guyssszzs!

This one is tough. Part of me wants to stick with my initial thought that somehow NU will find a way to lose one non-conference game, but since I thought it would be to Vandy, I'm going all in on the 'Cats now. I wouldn't be shocked if they did their usual Northwestern thing and crumbled right when we get our hopes up, but this team seems to have some heart and selflessness that may outweigh their flaws. If the defense remains competent and Trevor Siemian gets at least mildly saucy on offense, (#TeamTrevor - 73:27 snap ratio over #TeamKain) NU narrowly covers the -3.5 point spread while degenerate Northwestern gamblers everywhere and those who thought they were betting on an extinct Northeastern squad rejoice.

Final Score: 27-23, Northwestern

Optimism reigns again this week. If their week one loss to Miami is any indication, the BC defense is not very good, meaning that this is the week the Northwestern offense gets on track. Chase Rettig will put up big yardage numbers, but BC turnovers will make the difference in the game.

Final Score: 34-24, Northwestern

I'm not really sure what to make of the Wildcats yet. I don't think our defense is as bad as it showed in the Syracuse game, but it wasn't as good as the score would indicate in the Vanderbilt game. And like Syracuse, BC looks like it has a pretty good offense. Meanwhile, our offense worries me. Colter goes from looking brilliant in one drive to struggling in the next drive. I fear that against the BC offense, our defense will only be able to stem the tide for so long, so it'll be up to our offense to execute to keep us in the game.
But, hell, I'm gonna predict a win, because this is one of those toss-up games, and I haven't gotten into self-loathing phase yet to start picking against us.

Final Score: 31-28, Northwestern

Doug "The Oompa Loompa" Flutie is a glorified midget.

If anyone needs me, I'll be smoking blunts and drinking 40's with Sean Williams and William Green.

Final Score: 24-21, Northwestern

I once again see NU giving up some points as Chase Retting throws rampant over the Northwestern defense, but BC's defense is as holey as NU's. Venric notches a pair of 30-plus yard TD runs and has the biggest game by a running back in recent memory with Kain and Trevor each tossing one as well.

Final Score: 38-31, Northwestern
